I am puzzled as to why a guy who helped me move some stuff from my storage unit is upset because I asked a couple other guys to help him get the final load.  He told me he could fit it all in his little truck, which he can't.  He said there was no need for them to go out there.  I like the idea of using a company van truck with a ramp, personally, and I feel it is my right to ask whoever I want to do this.  Plus I feel safer having people I know involved.  I had to swallow my pride to even ask, but I did.  So is this an ego thing?  Or perhaps something else that I would rather not speculate about?  It just seems odd for him to refuse payment when he doesn't even know me.
