This community is dedicated to those who have lost a husband, wife, or partner. Anything is open for discussion here, with the hope that we can focus on grief, bereavement, life after loss, and continuing on after a great loss.
My co-workers treated me a day at the SF Women's Conference today. We had fun getting a free massage, free hair cut and best of all to hear Joan Rivers speaking to the women there. She was funny of course. She mentioned her husband suicide, she reminded us there was the low and there would be the high. Things would get better, shoot for the stars. We enjoyed her speech.
And I hope Joan is right...I hope there will be a time when I can dig out of this low and expierence a high once again....

Aratliff, have faith one day at a time, some day we will all really feel joy in life again, it has to happen everyone who has gone before us on this journey seems to say so !!!
