Widows & Widowers Support Group
This community is dedicated to those who have lost a husband, wife, or partner. Anything is open for discussion here, with the hope that we can focus on grief, bereavement, life after loss, and continuing on after a great loss.
I'm sure most if not all of you have heard the expression "If it ain't broke, don't fix it." That is with the exception of, maybe government, who are always breaking stuff so they can
insure their job security "fixing" it...bad part about that is, the government is much more
effective at breaking stuff than at fixing it, and their fixing is irreversibly too far behind their
breaking...but, what else is new? WHY is this piece of **** website double-spacing here and single-spacing there without any
command from me?
Good question...and I have another question...when did Daily Strength become part of the
mother-lovin' government?
I got on here March-10th, and the old format has been a lifesaver for me...it has kept me company
with some very dynamic and beautiful souls who share similar situations in life...it was the only
place I could go where people really understand where I'm coming from...and I even had the
privilege of establishing a special connection and a permanent friendship with one of our members,
which will stay if I come back to DS or not.
But after what I have seen since the so-called "improvements", I think the people who operate
this show can put it in their pipe and smoke it, and I won't even specify which body-orifice they
can smoke it from...I am that ******-off at what this thing has become.
Don't you guys (management) know that we are widows and widowers? That means that with the
exception of a handful of unfortunate young ones who find themselves in our situation, most of us are
in our 50's-60's-70's, and are NOT of the generation that was born knowing all about this s**t...most
of us were growing up surrounded by reality, long before the tech-savvy-transistor-headed-virtual-
reality-video-game generation was even born...hence, most of us are not naturally-born microsoft
engineers who can actually make sense out of this new format.
What did DS do, hire the server operators who used to work for Hillary Clinton when she was pretending
to be Secretary of State? I'll guarantee one thing, if retrieving Hillary's emails is half as confusing as
navigating this new DS format, she'll never spend a day in jail.
Personally, I liked DS just fine the way it used to be, where it could actually be understood by human
beings...but the only word that describes it now, that I feel is appropriate...is s**t.
Thank you, DS, for giving us the kind of quality we have come to expect in our fabulous global economy
...I don't know who exactly you are intentionally discriminating against with this s**t you have become...
but if it's people like myself, a little older and not very tech-savvy, I want to congratulate you on your
outstanding success.
Because one thing you CAN count on from people like me, is the truth...and the truth is, there is nothing
...NOT-ONE-SINGLE-SOLITARY-*******-THING I can say good about "The New DS."
Except that from this point on, you will probably never see so many asterisks in one place at the same
time...because you have seen the last of me.
DS...**-****-********...and have a nice day.

Then trying to figure how to use it - not intuitive at all to me.
Better viewing I'll admit with the full page showing now, but I was looking for a while to see where the "threads" of conversation could be found! Looked like a single list of random posts!
IDK - we'll see how it works, don;t like the trend to phone apps that are aimed at text msg type comunication.
