Hope you are feeling better soon. Change your towels and pillow slips often, and sterilize your toothbrush. Seems to help me get over colds faster.

Wendy .. vent away .. we're here and know how you feel. I'm at 7 1/2 months and this month has been horrific. We leave for Michigan tomorrow for an early Christmas with Rob's family and I'm dreading every minute.

Sorry you are under the weather. Just to give you a laugh, my mother-in-law called yesterday. She also has a nasty cold and something wrong with her voice. I answered the phone and thought it was a man. Get well soon.

Right here with you Wendy and vent away..... Both the granddaughters and Nikki have colds so I figure I am next on the list. Too much stress and cold weather is pulling down all of our immune systems. Hope you are feeling better soon. Sending you warm thoughts and hugs....

It is good to feel sorry for yourself once in awhile. I am surprised I don't have a cold yet, I get colds whenever I am stressed. Phil will be gone 1 month on Monday. I am surprised I can even get up in the morning, I am still in the surreal world..

That is why we come here ! to vent and to reach out to those who understand why !

Wendy, Hope your cold leaves quickly. I will be 4 months Monday. It is lousy to be feeling under the weather and not have someone there to make you some hot soup and pamper you . I so miss that. Some of the worst times for feeling sorry for myself is when I am sick. I just want to curl up in my husband's lap or hear him say "are you ok?" Being without your best friend when you are sick makes it all worse. I hope you feel better soon, we all know what you are going through.

2 months on Christmas Day. I am thankful this is a safe place to vent and know that the sympathizing ear is listening. Feel better, Wendy. take care of yourself

Can't add much except to say I am thinking about you. Hope you feel better soon -- everybody who is feeling poorly on top of feeling sad and alone. I went to a delayed memorial service for my husband on Tuesday and learned that a friend's daughter had died, another had MS. Reaching out to them and hugging them for their losses was a great comfort to me. When you feel better and the holidays are behind you, you may find a way to reach out to someone who also feels crummy. I hope I can.
