Today is Mothers Day. For many, another difficult day without our spouse. Another "first" for me. I would like to wish all the Mum's in my DS family a very happy day. One day at time. Hugs, Wendy

I'm *borrowing* my sister's family today. My only child, my son, is halfway across the nation. My sister had 6 kids and lots of grandkids. I used to think she was nuts. Now, I'm not so sure.

Happy Mothers Day to you too. I thought it was going to be a crappy day today, as I said in my post last night it was 14 years ago that I met John. I was up early this morning and ended up in tears and cried myself back to sleep, which wasn't a bad thing. I met my husband in a dream and got to spend some time with him that way. I was woken up at 12:30 to a vase of lilacs by my daughter, something John always did for me and two beautiful cards, one from my son and my daughter. Maybe, just maybe, it may not be a bad day afterall. Gonna try and keep my chin up.

Happy Mother's Day to all the mothers on DS. I sincerely hope this day you find your burdens a little lighter than the past. I hope you are able to smile and laugh at least once at something memorial to brighten your day and I hope you feel a sense of gratefulness for whoever mothered you as you grew.

It's the 3rd Mother's Day for me without Don and I'm spending it with my children. Anticipating a better day, after all I've had 2 others to practice on. Sharon

Happy Mother's Day to everybody else as well. I thought I'd do okay - or at least not worse than any other day, because our children are all from our previous marriages. But his son called me today to wish me a happy Mother's Day and I really broke down. How sweet and loving of him!

Happy Mother's Day to all. Today was a beautiful day. My daugthter spend the night and we drove together to Phila. and met up with my son and his girlfriend for a nice late lunch. I am blessed with these 2 wonderful children who have been so loving and concerned for me. They are Rob's stepchildren. but they love him so and miss him terribly. Rob would have been so proud of them these last few months, how they have rallied around me. Today was special. I know I am blessed and grateful for a few good hours. The ride home and right now I am so very sad again but grateful. Hug, Donna
