Widows & Widowers Support Group
This community is dedicated to those who have lost a husband, wife, or partner. Anything is open for discussion here, with the hope that we can focus on grief, bereavement, life after loss, and continuing on after a great loss.

We/You can not stop living and in this sorrowful life tragedy strikes every minute of the day to someone somewhere, and unfortunately for most of us it will happen again but it's all part of life and it seems there are more downs then there are ups.
Please give yourself a chance to smile and be happy again and don't worry about what others think.
I lost my Wife and Best friend a person could ever have three months ago and I'm devastated, but I know she would want me too be happy again one day and I will try my best. My prayer's and thoughts are with you.

The less judgmental we are of ours or others feelings the easier it is to accept or let go of them.
I can get into a "funk" and stay in it for days. I want to stay in it.....I want to feel EVERY thing about my funk. I want to dwell in the muck and mire of it all and if allowed I will pull myself up and out and I will face the day and life with better resolve and fervor.
I've done it with some of you here and some of you have helped with your kindness and love to pull me up and out!
Thank you!

I have found this to be painfully true in my own grief.
