Yes it was a private message. When clicking on the name I saw where he sent the exact same message multiple times. New member since May 11 (supposedly)

I received it also.

I got a message attached to a 'hug' and the message didn't seem to make sense...and the profile says member since May 11 also...His profile description looks like something one might expect on a dating site or something. I didn't respond, just left it for now.

I get a lot of 'friend' requests on the facebook group that I joined from scammers, usually with a brand new fb page with no info and they almost always use 2 first names..but this is the first time I have encountered something suspicious on this site.

You can report this as "abuse' below your inbox message line. No need to wait for a CL to step in. (Although they will, once alerted). We do have options and don't need to endure the hackers/abusers on our board!! Take action!! Hugs, D

Dayne, the message came on the hugbook and I don't see a "report abuse" there. Am I missing it somewhere?

No report option there.

At the bottom of every page here there is a "Report Abuse" link - it sits between he Privacy Policy and Sharecare links - it's in green and at the very bottom of the page. Click on that. Don't delete any abusive messages or hugs - the DS Admin staff will need to see them to see what you're talking about. They will remove them once the scammer is banned.

Nevermind....I found it....yes, my face is red. Sorry.

No problem - most of us never scroll all the way down to the bottom of the screen, so we often don't notice those links.

You can also always check out the "Help" pages, too. Link at the top right of your page next to your name or another at the bottom of the page.

I came across the messages sent from highdee57 . . he sent the exact same message to multiple women on this site. Did any of you report this yet?? I also noticed that several accepted his friendship. Beware! This def appears to be a love scammer!

He hasn't been banned yet. Apparently has targeted women from differing groups here on DS . . hasn't joined any groups . . sent out 99 hugs since he joined mid-May of this year. ???
