Hang in there! All the anniversaries of the day can be difficult. Just remember to be kind to yourself. Perhaps treat yourself to a massage or manicure or even just a bubble bath. Do something just for YOU! We are here for you!

Anniversaries are so hard .... and there are so many of them. I'm expecting some really difficult days in the next few weeks. My birthday - 9/22, our anniversary (would have been 30) 9/27, sixth month anniverary of his death 10/1.

I'm grateful for this site and the people on it. You're the only ones who understand.

My support is with you in this time of need. Remember, we "get it". We, here, understand. And in just 2 hours from now, it will be the 18th and you will have made it through.

That is so true - we all do "get it" here. And we're here for you - to listen, support, hug and cry with you. Wishing you some peace for a good night's sleep and a little sunshine tomorrow.

Yep -- can relate and understand. It does get a little bit easier, if we take tiny steps forwards. It's those steps when we fall backward that really cause the harm!! Sometimes I feel like I'm back to square 1!!!

I just hit the 8th month on the 13th. and although it was rough it was much better than the 6th. and 7th. month. It seems like certain anniversaries might be worse than others. Just want to offer a hug, Donna

It's hard to comprehend how we have any tears left after days where they arrive in torrents. Anniversaries, special places that you shared, and the list of 'cause and effect' goes on and on. I'm so sorry, Pat, that you are overwhelmed with sadness which seems to jump out and attack at the most vulnerable moments.

I'm very glad that DS is a place of relief to your anguish. It's humbling to see the compassion that flows through the wires. Hold tight and reminiscence while those sweet tears of love flow. The future holds promise even in the darkest hours. Blessings to you. TJ
