Widows & Widowers Support Group
This community is dedicated to those who have lost a husband, wife, or partner. Anything is open for discussion here, with the hope that we can focus on grief, bereavement, life after loss, and continuing on after a great loss.
I think you should talk to your therapist about this. I personally believe it is a separate thing from dealing with the loss. And if that was your first experience with that, it is probably even worse.
There is also a PTSD board here at DS. That may be helpful for you, too, at some point.
Love and Hugs,
Martha
Events in our lives accumulate on us.
Good luck

All normal. Since my husband passed in March, I recheck the doors every night to see if they are locked. When I leave the house, I double check to see that I have my cell phone in case of car problems. Counselor in support group said all that is normal. We need to take care of our safety since we are now living alone. I surround you with hugs for all you are going through with those small children. You are one strong lady.
thank you for weighing in I needed to know if I was alone in those things..?
You're a sweetheart and I hope you are doing well. Think of you often
Love,
Cindy
I play Tetris which is a computer game that research said helps prevent PTSD. I think you have to play right away, but I find that it helped.
