Hello everyone, my name is Dave. I used to live on this site for years ago when I lost my beautiful wife. I see all the same postings and all the pain that goes with it. This was the only place that really got me through it. This was the only place I actually knew people understood what I was going through. Stay here, share your feelings and help other people with their feelings. I can't think of any other way to get this kind of therapy. I will always remember this site and the people that I poured my heart out to. Try to get through each day, one day at a time. Don't be offended by friends and family members that will tell you "you'll be OK in a while, you'll get through it, time will help" just remember, they cannot understand your pain and what you're going through like all the people on this site.

When we moved over there was much complaining about how "Old site" closed with two weeks notice, and how great is was that ____ and _____ opened the new one. A couple months ago, I went to post on "Somewhat Newer Site" and it had closed - no notice - zero, zip, nada. The irony is rich. But I kind of get it- it doesn't run itself and the originators of the site had stopped moderating it. In fact, when some moderation was truly needed, a check on the listed moderators revealed that none of them had been on the site in months.
