I know what you mean. After almost ten months I still find myself looking for Linda around the house.

I'm so sorry that all of us are going through this awful phase of life. I miss my husband all the time. It's like an amputation of half of yourself. It's very hard to find your balance after that. I hope there's something good in your day if possible.

Its been almost 1 1/2 for me, and I still miss everything about my husband. Just know, you may always miss him, I have finally accepted the fact, that I'll alway be sad, and miss my sweet soulmate, husband. As time passes, it does seem to be more accepted, of the fact that we can't have them back, but then you will start remembering, times, happy, sad, etc.. and you will mostly concentrate on the happy times, and funny moments, atleasts thats what I discovered about my grieving. so sorry for your loss. 6/14 will be the 5 month mark for me. This month so far has been the hardest for me. I just keep thinking about how much he loved the summer, all the things we would do together, we would be excited about july 4th, it was always our favorite holiday, we would be excited about our anny, july 8th, he would be asking me what i wanted, he would be excited and telling me what he wanted for his birthday 7/12.....none of this is easy.

I am so sorry Patricia. I'm now at a year one month today. And yes, it does get better. Seems the worst for me began at about 3 months. I think it is because the cloak of shock had wore off by that time. And it just kept getting worse and worse until I was at about 10 months, and I keep waiting for the next big wave to hit because I have read the 2nd year is even harder. I'm just not experiencing that. I so remember when another month was chalked up since her death. You would not miss him or be so sad if the two of you did not have true love. Patricia, We all feel your pain!! Hugs are hardest thing to lose. I agree. My resent visit to see my husbands brother was so wonderful, getting that "man" hug from the closes relative to my husband was like heaven. Hugs Arlene
