I was thinking earlier about how I learned several years ago that everything in life is grey. There really isn't black and white in life. Then a Texas thunderstorm rolled in with rain and wind. I like watching the storms. It didn't last long. Maybe 10 minutes. I continued watching the sky and the grey clouds dissipating until half of the sky that I could see was grey clouds and the other half white clouds. It dawned on me that when the clouds are thicker, we see less light and we think we see grey clouds when what we really see are shadows of the clouds blocking the light. When the clouds are thinner or less dense, we think we see white clouds when what we are really seeing is light. It struck me that it's all perspective. When we feel grey we are only experiencing shadows blocking the light. What the world sees in us is a reflection. Are we allowing shadows to block our light?
