I know it sucks, I'm so so sorry. It has only been 4 months for me and every night I say that "okay I got through today now for tomorrow", day after day. Some days are surprisingly easy and I think wow! I did it, others are like "I don't how I will do it". I always find that I do. We are all on a crazy roller coaster ride in which some how we can all get off and just be ok. I wish I could just give everyone a hug and say it'll be alright. I can't because at times I doubt myself. Just have strength every day if your religious put it in Gods hands.

People who are not going through what we are don't understand how it really feels. Some days are good for me and others are bad. I love the good memories, but hate knowing that there will be no new memories with my husband. Take deep breaths 2 in the am and 2 in the PM. It might help.

Our world is upside down and we are doing our best to not fall off. Everyday is one small win....and each step is a baby step....and everyone here at DS is on the same dark path trying to find their way.....and we are all holding out our hands to catch and help each other if we stumble...that is a true blessing!

After being on this Journey I didn't ask for... after quite sometime I still say if I can make it until 5 O'clock I made it... don't know where the time came from but it just did... Blessings to all!

It has been a little over 8 months since I lost my dear husband and it is still hard to get through each day. Sometimes I think I'm "regressing" instead of "progressing." Guess I'm definitely on the "rollercoaster" ride now! I cherish my wonderful memories but agree with katerlou - so sad there will be no more wonderful new memories! Debbie
