My husband died in October 2011. I have dreams about him that run in spurts. This week I've had 2 dreams. Each time he is leaving me, packing his things, getting ready to "go". I cry and carry on and in the end he is holding me and telling me he loves me but he has to "go". On one hand these dreams are very sad, on the other hand I somehow feel happy to be able to see him and hold him one more time, even if it's only a dream. I love to dream about him, even with the happy/sad emotions. Like the balance of life, mixed with happy and sad.

I only had 2 dreams while sleeping in the hospital, during my hubby's last days. It was so strange to me at the time. I was too upset to make anything of it. After his passing, I realized that some how through his IV drip, he reached beyond to talk to me.
After his passing, there were no dreams of him, but other signs that I found comfort with.
