It was 2 years ago today I last heard your voice. Oh how I miss it, your laughter was contagious, and how I love laughing. I now try to find humor in everything, laughing is so healing.
I am in a better place today than I was yesterday. As my avatar states when "When you can tell a story and it doesn't bring up any pain you know it is healed". I am not there 100% and maybe will never be,but I am closer everyday.
It took me a long time, but I got to the point where I can do for me without feeling guilty. I still struggle with it but I have gotten so much better. I have to admit it has not been easy. I am forever grateful for all the lessons you taught me and all the confidence you had in me that has given the ability to move forward. The belief you had in me is what sustains me and gives me strength.
I have made some big changes recently and struggle with if I made the right choice. I still look for your guidance and hope that I still make you proud. This change is the first time I feel on my own and believe it or not it feels good.
Tomorrow marks your 2nd heavenly birthday and that day horrifies me. There are no good memories from that day. So I choose to remember this day.
You are forever in my heart and I am beyond grateful that you were a part of my life. I thank the lord that he gave me as much time as he did with you and allowed us to have 2 amazing Son's, which in turn has given 5 beautiful grandchildren.
As I move forward in my self discovery I still look for your guidance.
I will always love and miss you.
Hugs, Sandi
