2 Years ago today I was on a plane flying to MD Anderson in Houston for
what would be the beginning of the en d , Jim died on September 25th
2009 at home in our bed and the below blog post says it all......

"Two years ago I was approaching the final week of my husband's life. I felt like I was running a marathon, as there was so much to do in his day to day care. Yet in my marathon there was no winner, and there was definitely no victory lap."~ Dan on Widow's Voice

I just went past the two year mark on August 10th, also from esophageal cancer.Guess this is another "marker" we have to face. I do hope you are doing much better than me. For some reason, I feel like I backslid & am having a hard time going forward again. You will definitely be in my thoughts and prayers in these upcoming days. Cheri

I'm thinking of you with love.. I'm at 8+ months and have been down today. It is indeed the price we pay for loving them.

Cheri , I'm with you on the back slide been feeling down for about a month now same as last year at this time .... thanks for your thoughts and prayers you are in mine also ... sure would like to get off this roller coaster of emotional ups and downs , and I am really tired of the
unsolicited advice of others about what we all should be doing ...
this too shall pass
