Dear Mary - You will definitely be in my prayers. If you have read some of my posts, a big part of my trying to get my life back on track has been trying to find work again.. My mom needs me right now, as she did last summer and right after my husband died in Aug. 2010 - But, I will eventually need to be working full time again at some point. On top of grieving for my husband , I have had this added burden on my shoulders. I am lucky that I have been given the role of caretaker for my mom when not working, but, in the time since my husband died, I have grabbed onto jobs that I should not have taken - the first one only 4 months after he died, because I really was not ready - and the second, three months ago, because I wanted life to be normal again (with a job). Please give yourself time, if you are able to, to grieve. Otherwise, taking something on, like a new job, when you are not REALLY ready, will backfire. I am only telling you what has happened to me personally. We all are different. Just take it slow.
I'll be praying for you. By the way, my mother's name is Mary.
