I met Meredith when I was working third shift at a Kroger in Bourbonnais IL while I was going to Olivet Nazarene University for my ministry degree. We met when her friends had taken her out drinking and they came in my store goofing around. She kept asking me over for coffee and called me Jim which is not my name.

I politely declined her coffee invitation and asked them to calm down in the store. It took her three months to come back into the store again and we started talking and building a friendship.

That was in 1998 then on April 19th 2000 I asked her out for the first time. So here I am 16 years later having known one of the best people of my life was also my best friend. We dated for ohh 6 months lol and then were married Oct 29 2000, and I never looked back.

Our first date was at a Steak-N-Shake were I had her bring her son along. Robbie was only 2 then and is now 18 and getting ready to graduate next month. Oh the life we have lived in those 16 years.

I updated my profile picture to reflect us on our wedding day back in 2000.
