This community is dedicated to those who have lost a husband, wife, or partner. Anything is open for discussion here, with the hope that we can focus on grief, bereavement, life after loss, and continuing on after a great loss.

Now I can think of fun memories, and fun times with him to keep his memory alive ...at least our life together alive as much as possible without hanging me up from going on....
At almost 7 months, I have three types of memories. The first type is of when he was wonderful to me. These are too painful for me to handle right now.
The second type is when we had stupid disagreements. These send me into a guilty funk.
I try to focus on the third type those which are of lighthearted and carefree moments we shared. These I can handle pretty well.
Here is one he would always say hello sunshine when he called me on the phone.
and It's remarkable! I do think that the memories we have, the ones that are etched in our minds are very much like your computer anaolgy. In files in our heads and we can remember alot! I remember miore of the little things everyday, and am thankful for them all!
