I think that happy moments...good memories...I know it seems...maybe wrong to say it...but I don't think any of our spouses would want us to walk around in sackcloth and ashes...depressed...unhappy. I know Bill would be appalled at the Zombie I was for nearly a month. I know it is the last thing he would have ever wanted. I think it is okay to look for things to smile about...

Went shopping today for a new outfit for my work holiday party. Got a very cute outfit...in 1 size smaller than usual! Talk about a good day:)

The smile on 10-year old on grandson's face last night when he saw me and his mom in the audience at his school play. Priceless!

My grandson just came back from a trip with my daughter, so my house was pretty clean for a week. When he returned, my house looked like a tornado hit, which is more typical when he's around. I just sat on my couch and smiled.

My 4-yr old grandson says, "There's Grandpa Joe!" whenever we pass a KFC restaurant. Col. Sanders does resemble Joe, but not with the beard. So cute to hear from my baby gr son that he still thinks about Grandpa Joe, after 13 months!

My grandchildren always make me smile even though they are 27, 26, and 24. Every time we get together we get into some laughing fit over something. Usually it is something completely stupid and off the wall. Diane

Happiness is waiting for the birth of my first grand daughter and watching the 3d ultrasoound that was taken about a week ago. She is due in March 1.

It is amazing how the little are the things that make you happy.

My daughter held the phone up to my seven month old grandson's ear today so he could hear my voice. She told me he got a big smile on his face and tried to grab the phone.

seeing the outside birds come up to the bird feeders to eat, the cardinals, sparrows, wrens, chickadees, tuffed titmice, etc, etc all their antics, pushing each other off and then trying to get back on.

I babysat my 5 year old granddaughter today..first thing she says to me ...Grandma let's do makeup today! Made me smile & yes we did makeup & she played dress up.

A commercial of Olive Garden comes on now, it depicts cousins getting together and how they had to sit at the kids table.
It brought back some old good memories, it makes me smile right now when I see it. I wish for the old days right now.
