Speaking of dreams (I just commented on that last post) - here is a very vivid dream I had as a kid I thought I'd share. I was in a building and every time I walked into a room I saw a coffin with an American Flag draped over it. I would ask, "who died?" and the answer was always, "President Kennedy" to which I would respond, "he's already dead". Same thing kept happening and I couldn't get away from it. I'd go into another room see the same thing, ask the same question and get the same answer.

For some reason I found this to be a very scary dream and also very vivid. As the dream went on I began running to get away from the coffin and it kept reappearing. I woke up and sat up in bed - very scared for some reason. My father, who always left for work before I woke up passed by my room, saw me sitting up in bed and said just 3 words, "Kennedy's been shot". I was stunned. Living in NY where Robert Kennedy was senator I was well aware of who he was.

I went to school and remember we didn't really have school. Teachers were so upset most of the day was spent outside for recess. Most of the kids had radios and the day was spent listening to a constant update on his condition. I didn't tell anyone about my dream but knew he would die.

This was not a premonition because my dream was after he was shot. But from that point on, I always thought - there are a lot of things we don't really know about or understand. The dream would have quite an impact on me because it would forever keep me open minded.
