Thought I would ask how many of you dream of your spouse frequently or infrequently? If so, is it a painful experience or do you embrace it?
From almost the very beginning, I had vivid dreams about my husband. I began to look forward to those dreams. I called them my "date night with C....." Sometimes they were spiritual in nature; other times they were fun loving. They have been--but for one--a blessing and comfort to me.
In one particular dream, he and I were in a room together having a conversation as to why my life was so different now. I told him I missed his hugs. Suddenly, I said to him, "Oh, that's right. I remember now why you can't hug me anymore, you died." I woke up with a start and the tears flowed. That was the one and only time that a dream about him was disturbing.
I will always be thankful for my "date nights." For me, it's a lovely way that my heart is enriched by the wonderful man I was married to for 42 years.

One night as I layed in bed watching television, he actually layed down next to me. We didn't speak or look at each other because I sensed I shouldn't. I fell asleep that night so calm and relaxed, I'll never forget it. Sharon
