Hard to believe you have been gone for a month and a half. i think of you often, i miss you especially at night when we would hold hands and say our prayers. i don't cry as much as i thought i would, i guess because i know you are free from the pain you were suffering. We had 2 years of knowing that you were going to die sooner rather than later. i know i grieved a lot evenĀ before i lost you. i love you.

Happy 67th birthday in heaven, you would be proud of how things are going. we sold off 22 head so the herd is easier to keep up with. Hannah's honeysuckle had a calf so she got a little money too. I miss you so much, especially at night when we used to hold hands and pray together. did you meet our baby and tell him/her that I love him/her like we talked about? I know you are busy praising God, it must be wonderful where you are, I can't wait to join you there. the days are so long since you left. i'm starting piano lessons next week, I know I will enjoy it, and it will give me something to do, i'll be praising God with music. I love you, Peggy

I am truly sorry for your loss. Have been trying to get on site last week but wouldnt let me sign in. I want to welcome you here. Birthdays and other anniversaries can be very painful reiminders they are no longer with us. I want to send you a Big Canadian hug and encourage you to cling to your faith as you wrestle with the early stages of grief which are so incredibly painful. We are here to walk with you. God bless and please post any questions or thoughts. We are always ready to listen. God bless. Gerry

I know what you are going through pahatfi. My husband was ill for a long time too. The last few months of his life he also suffered dementia. Many times I prayed over him at night. Sometimes, I would say The Lord's Prayer and even with dementia, he was able to say most of it with me. That always touched me. He also loved to hold hands, and that is one of my fondest memories. I miss him so much and I know that I will never find true happiness again. I accept that. I hope you are doing better and are able to rest. My heart goes out to you and I pray that God will bless you in a tremendous way. Linda

I am sleeping better, I still have trouble getting to sleep, once I am there it's not so bad. sometimes I dream that he is still with me, that is always comforting. I am trying to pick up the pieces of my life, a fellow widow has taken me under her wing. she invited me to her house to play dominos with a few other friends, it is fun and gets me out of the house for awhile.

That is wonderful! I am so glad you have someone to talk to and socialize with. I wish my husband would come to me in my dreams....it would help so much.
