I just wanted to say that this sub group os a great idea!
This way people who do not have faith will not be offended when we who do, proclaim that we do. Hopefully things here will not get all messed up like they did on the widow/widoiwers disscussion group.
I had tried to start a group for christain widow/widowers on Facebook but did not know anything about how to do it so it only has one member, me. LOL

So glad you can join us. There have been some real good posts so far, and I, for one, am looking forward to more. Clearly, there is a need for this group. Many folks posting in the main group are now expressing their resentment of others who proclaim their faith there. It's good to hear from you!!!!....Joe...:-)

I also like this sub group. I have been on DS for 2 1/2 years now, and find that I always try to censor my comments about my faith so that I don't have to worry about offending anyone. Thank you to Joeinaz for starting it and to everyone that has followed.

It was a great idea, Joe. At least when I do state my faith, and I'm going to do so, I'm not waiting for someone to berate me. Hope that doesn't begin here!

So I say PLEASE freely profess your faith with pride!!!!.....This is the reason for the group.......God is helping us help ourselves and one another.........

Hi All ~ I too think this was a great idea. I almost always mention "God" in my posts, whether it's "God bless you" or something similar. I've often wondered when I was going to get attacked by doing that! Now I won't have to worry about it!

Well, Joe, judging by the number of people that have accepted invitations to join, or have found it on their own, forming this group was not only a good idea, it was an idea whose time had come....It's becoming apparent that there was definitely a need for a place where one's faith can be expressed openly and fully, without reservation or fear of offending someone or being berated or mocked.
