Good morning! The sun is shining here - has been for three days in a row. Amazing for my location. Yesterday I resubmitted my husband's epitaph for his headstone. It seemed like it took everything I had to do this, but at the same time I feel like a load has lifted. I pray they get it right this time, because the cost keeps escalating. It is hard to believe it has been a year.

A man is trying to talk to me on Instagram, but I'm not talking till I do a background check on him. I have had some bad experiences on there, so I try to be very careful. He could be a scammer, or worse. Already I see things that raise a red flag. I would like to date, but not outside the Faith. It can't happen. God has to send someone my way. I just don't want to begin a relationship and get my emotions involved, only to find out there are deal breakers. My heart is already shattered and very fragile.

I was angry with God at first for taking my husband, but my pastor said it was his time, so there was nothing any of us could have done. It wouldn't help my situation to curse or deny God, as many on the other forum are doing. But I do have questions, and I still search for answers. I am looking forward to church tonight; we are having an evangelist.

Sounds like you are moving forward and I hope everything goes well with your husband's epitaph. We have to be very careful when being approached by anyone on the internet. I have had some friend requests on Facebook from males and I have no idea who they are. When I check their profiles they only have a couple of pictures and no other information. That is a really big red flag. I immediately delete them. I had some anger with God but when it came down to it, I had no where else to turn in my brokenness and he was always there for me. I have come to think just like you pastor that it was Mike's time to go. I hope you enjoyed the church service! (((Hugs)))

When a man immediately sends a private message, that concerns me. I am tempted to ask him to state his intentions LOL. Then block him. There is a guy on IG who calls himself Jerry Cruise, and I think it is actually a group of people. They sweet talk you for a week or two, then ask you to send an ITune card to them. It's a scam. This guy is no more on a ship in Austria than a man in the moon.

I don't trust the funeral home to be honest with me on the purchase of this headstone. It seems there are hidden costs. I sent them an email, and if I don't hear back, then I will have to take further action, I guess.

I just wish my future was a little more defined. The Thursday night service was excellent! This little short guy from TX was a fiery preacher, and the title was "Jesus Is In The House." It was about the man with the palsy being let down through the roof. He and his two daughters could really sing, as well. I felt it was for me, if for no one else. While getting ready, I was listening to the same sermon on my phone by another preacher. It just had a little different twist. All good. One day at a time, with the Lord's help.

I promised my husband I wouldn't get mad at God when he died that was ok for me I just blamed myself I couldn't get him sat up in the car he tried to hard and it killed him. no good bye or one last I love you just gone.

Oh wow! I feel guilty for "moving" my husband in the bed just before. We knew he was on his way out, but I was trying to turn him, and he was dead weight. He was 6'2." I think perhaps paralysis had set in. I should have just called Hospice back, I guess, but they were not local. I didn't like Hospice, as it was. Anyway, they had left, my neighbors had left, and my son had gone back to bed when it happened. No goodbyes here either. Of course he was unable to communicate. Stupid cancer...
