I find myself putting off some important stuff. I need to file an appeal with VA about not paying a bill, apparently they denied it, why who knows. I also need to file an appeal with them over the co pays involved over the last few years. And I need to get our 2014 taxes done. And of course I am so disorganized I can't keep anything straight. Can't even find my list of sh*t to do. I am wondering if all the va and tax stuff has something to do with my not wanting to admit that he is gone, that this is final, and that I have to write he is deceased on the tax form. It was all I could do to retrieve our marriage license from the safety deposit box. It crushed me to think that was so long ago but yet feels like yesterday. Any input would be greatly appreciated. Hugs and Love, Michele

Dayna, I did go look at Nadia's pictures, but I could only get through four or five of them. It's been a weepy day again and just couldn't add to it. So tragic for such a young beautiful woman and her darling daughter. I do hope she checks in when she can too. And I wish her all the best as we all do. Hugs and love, Michele

Michele . . can you make a list for me also? LOL Seriously, I've been so inundated with unpacking and organizing the house, I've negated other necessary things!! Like generating income, pretty important. Working from home is awesome, but takes a lot of discipline as well. Not sure what's going on with me these days . . I'm simply chasing my tail in circles. I'm irritable (going through nico withdrawal) . . . restless and anxious (nico withdrawal along with still waiting on the probate decision) . . . need to get back to SC and take care of some stuff . . yet have a doc appt coming up here . . I could go on and on . . . but won't. YAK . . too much to think about!

When my husband crashed his car, they took him via air ambulance to the hospital...a 12 mile trip was $25,000. Aetna paid only $3K, so I now need to hassle them to cough the rest up before it goes to a collection agency. I’m sure it will be paid, but i do hate the “widow” stuff we all have to deal with...

Oh yes, I agree all the darn paper work. And it takes a clear mind for me to do it, but I will get there. Good luck on getting your "stuff" handled too. Hugs, Michele
