Okay, so I shaved my head . . . for many differing reasons, none that I care to explain here. No regrets whatsoever. Here's the dichotomy . . I'm still polishing my nails and just waxed my eyebrows (arched) and waxed my stash. WTF? It's not as if I don't care about "self", I totally do.

Not mentioning names, but one closest to me thinks I am intent on being a boy/man, because I shaved my hair. REALLY? It's like, research why spiritual women often shave their hair or keep it short. (I can also implore those here that don't understand to do your own research). It is NOT self destructive, yet it does have to do with ridding the EGO of hiding behind said hair. It also has a lot to do with spiritual cleansing in many cultures.

So there you have it. No need to agree, or disagree. My choice . . I did it . . and have no regrets. So f' off to the men (one in particular) and others that need to judge (simply research) . . . those that think a woman can be defined by her hair, and her hair alone! Stupid crazy old school idealism. As for me, breaking the mold . . . my hair will never define me.

As a matter of fact, I've had kudos to my shaven head. I don't need to explain, I simply say thank you for the compliment. I'm okay in my own skin and own decision(s). That's really all that matters.
