St. Patrick’s day was our anniversary. My husband always joked he picked it so he would remember our anniversary, when he saw everyone wearing green. Either this day, or April Fools would help him remember, but he thought we should pick this one...
This year I thought it’d be nice to get away for our anniversary, and spend it in Hawaii with the kids. But, it turned out it wasn’t such a great idea. Made me miss him more, since he should have been there. Also, we went to a luau, and they kept emphasizing people celebrating anniversaries, weddings, etc. and “Give your partner a kiss” or here’s a dance for the happy couples... BLEAH!!!
Next year, I will just spend it quietly by myself!

So sorry KK . . . I didn't realize the 17th was your anniversary. I thought you passed your one year mark previously? I must be confused. In any event, I suppose it was inappropriate to post a Happy St Paddy's day. :( Yeah, I can imagine that luau routine would have gotten old pretty quick . . as in "let's pick at the sore until it starts to bleed again" kind of thing. Boo hiss. I know you had some positive moments and time while you were there, so hopefully it balanced out.

K my birthday and wedding anniversary is April 1! Also on the basis that it would be easy for M to remember. I can't decide if it makes it harder or easier to have the two events coincide.

Sadly, no pictures were taken of the Horton dog and me whilest we were decked-out in green. Trust me......Horton was adorable, me, well, I'm just Horton's assistant! ;o)
