My major malfunction

I'm a worrier. Got the habit from parents, both heredity and environment!

That is so true. Last weekend I was freaking out because so many things were wrong or up in the air. But this weekend everything I worried about has been resolved.


Besides personal life, I think all of us are stressed by the state of the world. Don't want to offend anyone's politics, but I am petrified by both the leader of North Korea and our own leader. Can't forget a statement Trump made during his campaign, "I love war in a sense". "With nukes?" they asked him. "Yeah, with nukes," he responded nonchalantly. People who love war don't usually have to wait long to get one!

Hi Livingwater, I'm so glad to read your challenges of last week have been resolved. There were many and truly did effect your life in a negative way....as for our Countries leadership, quite frankly I think prayer is the only answer...the other alternative would be impeachment which I sincerely hope will take place and Soon, and I believe will happen prior to 4yrs.

Like you, I inherited the worry gene and was perpetually anxious throughout my growing-up years due to my environment. It takes a LOT of work not to fall back into those patterns today. Your status quote sums things up perfectly.

I'm with you when it comes to North Korea, and Trump makes me nervous because he is unpredictable. I seriously doubt that impeachment is in the future. War is much more likely.

Not too sure how impeachment will come, if it does, I think it will have something to do with corruption within his businesses, or the situation with Russia, or if his head power sends him to a place of thinking he can change the Constitution....like you, I think war will come first...if you look back over history, many of the wars our Country has been in, have started with a Republican President....I know that President has to be authorized by Congress...still what scares me to death is Russia and North Korea...nuke war!

nice to see you on here. yeah, trump is nuts. i don't think he cares about running the country at all, i think he just wanted to win the competition and now he's done, kind of thing. can't believe the stuff he comes up with, which people claim he says to get free air time during the election and no other reason. don't know what to think of that.

A few of you have mentioned impeachment and doubt that he will complete a 4 year term. A friend of mine here in the building is 91 years old, a lifelong Republican, but did not vote for Trump. In fact she is scared s---tless of him, just as many of us are. She and I agree that Donald Trump will NOT complete even a first term. Impeachment or assassination is likely. The old lady says, "Someone is going to take a pot-shot at him!" While I do not advocate or condone assassination of a president, I do earnestly wish for impeachment.
