I go for a walk when I am upset to cool down before i try to talk my problems out. I also meditate and do deep breathing exercises . I think good communication is key in solving conflicts .

The main one for myself is..if I had terrible words with someone and something happened..it would be hard to live with myself..now when someone says something awful you have to decide ..is it just an off day..have they a conditon..or are they a toxic ass..then if they are the third..I dont go near them..its not worth the conflict with someone..each thing that happens I just look at whats going on..some people like to have a good argument that one is fine..If its just an agument and the two of you agree to disagree..

You both have very good approaches. I am similar in many ways. It depends who it comes from and how much the person means to me. Some get annoyed that I just look at them and grim.

Many times I just give it time. When the time is right, I look at facts. How facts weigh compared to who is involved. I use the truth. You never have to be sorry about saying the truth. What I don't do is react. I act. I try to never lose my cool, which I fail to at times.

If the person is worthless, I just completely delete the situation and the person from my wellbeing.

People these days are going through a lot. I just give them the chance to acknowledge what they have done, and then I tell them them what I think. They must know how you have treated them in the past, how they must act towards you if they want to continue relating to you. Above all, people must know that you will not tolerate disrespect!

You can agree to disagree, but both sides must show respect. Respect is key.

If someone cannot respect you, then you do not need them in your life. They must know this.
