Some of you already know me from an accountability group, although most everyone has left and gone elsewhere. Even the founder of the group rarely posts anything so I think it's time for me to move on too. I didnt' know until just now that there even WAS an overeaters anonymous group here at DS. I hope it's okay with everyone if I join you. I went to O.A. for many years and need to get back in to the step work and being honest. I need to be part of an active group like this where it's safe to talk about food issues. I don't think it's enough for me to just talk to one or two people about food issues and not get in to real recover which happens through working the steps and getting honest with myself and others. If anyone here does not want me to join here for any reason please give me a chance. I weigh 304 pounds and am very desperate to save my own life and sanity. I really do relate to all of you here. I hope it's okay with everyone that I am here. If not please let me know and we can hopefully talk about it and work things out. Thank you!
