Victims of Psychopaths Community Group
Is he or she a sociopath or psychopath? Think we're only talking about serial killers here? Psychopaths, sociopaths and even narcissists come in every walk of life, every career level, and every socio-economic category.
Manyrivers: I never heard the word "slag" before and had to look it up. What a jerk!!!! It's unbelievable the lengths that they will go to. It's ironic that grown men like to spew such derogatory names. Several of us seem to have one thing in common, it is that our exs had a lot in common: they were the players, male whores, and, in some cases, misogynists . . .
I agree they are definitely misogynists to an extent (the more successful and outgoing the woman, the more that hatred inflames) but I don't think the animosity they feel is just directed at women, I think a better term to describe them would be misanthrope (hatred of all humanity)
Manyrivers: I have learned something new. I'm so sorry to hear that you were called such a vile name. Your ex definitely went for the jugular!!! My N/S said something similar about a female colleague of mine (who I was friends with and he barely knew). She was anything but what he said... One of the nicest most professional women I know. They can be so vile!!! So much projection....Misanthrope is definitely a better term. The irony is that they seem to be the ones normally sleeping around with everything and everything...
No more lemonade detoxification. I will try to remember that he was not human. The man I thought I knew was a farce. His past words will not matter to me. (repeat)
