Victims of Psychopaths Community Group
Is he or she a sociopath or psychopath? Think we're only talking about serial killers here? Psychopaths, sociopaths and even narcissists come in every walk of life, every career level, and every socio-economic category.
I do believe in taking your power back and getting justice. I believe in exposing these losers to as many people as possible. It's not easy. You have to document and prove everything because they are such good manipulators. Nobody would believe you otherwise. But they HATE being exposed. So that's a real good way to get even. If there's anything criminal that you know about, you can try to go to the legal system but they rarely care about criminals anymore. You might get lucky though.
I've never dealt with a high functioning one so that adds a lot of complication to it. I thought this recent one was high level but the more I think about it, the more I think the intelligence was a con too. He's left too much of a trail of evidence of his crimes to be intelligent. And he's not high functioning at all. Typical sociopath, can't keep a job because he's committing crimes and who knows what else that gets him fired. Doesn't pay his bills, get sued nonstop. Tons of collectors after him. Short term marriage. Drug use. Fraud. Etc. It's all catching up to him. I hope his lifestyle kills him like it did the previous one. Then I might start believing in Karma.
Be patient. Karma will catch up with all of them in one way or another (that’s what my mom says), but you can’t spend your life hanging on to that hope and waiting for it to happen. It might just take a while! Try your best to let it all go and move forward with your life. One day you might just hear some news out of the blue that things haven’t worked out for your ex-psycho and by this time, you’ll be just fine and the news will just add a bit of sparkle to your already fabulous new life!
Another way that karma can work, is that they do keep on doing what they do, so they often torpedo themselves. Live In Truth, you sound like an awesome woman that I would not want to get on the wrong side of, and I would dearly like to know how you got yours to help in his own destruction. Just for entertainment value alone. Mine did also contribute to his own limited downfall, and right in front of my eyes, so that was some satisfaction. But nevertheless, he always seems, and I do emphasize seems, because I know better, to land on his feet very well set up and looking like he's doing well. Meanwhile I am obviously still struggling to anyone who knows us both. I really thought after I left that I would move on well and he wouldn't and it would be obvious to all who the problem was, but that did not happen. It may still, but I will need to be patient. What I mean is that eventually his nature will probably rear its head again. And eventually I will recover and get out from under so much and do better. And without his brand of limits, I hope I will soar someday.
