Victims of Psychopaths Community Group
Is he or she a sociopath or psychopath? Think we're only talking about serial killers here? Psychopaths, sociopaths and even narcissists come in every walk of life, every career level, and every socio-economic category.
We are in contact again regarding the return of my belongings. He has lobbed a few half-hearted love bombs at me, just checking, I guess, to see if there might be any easy supply left here. He's not interested enough to work very hard for it.
I happened to see him on the dating site where we met 4 years ago, last night, when I checked my messages about 10 pm. Just after 11 pm, I received, in my e-mail, this lament about his poor luck with the ladies-- a song by Mose Allison called "Stop This World":
Stop this world, let me off
There's just too many pigs in the same trough
There's too many buzzards sitting on the fence
Stop this world, it's not making sense
Stop this show, hold the phone
Better days this lad has known
Better days so long ago
Hold the phone, won't you stop this show
Well, it seems my little playhouse has fallen down
I think my little ship has run aground
I feel like I'm in the wrong place
My state of mind is a disgrace
REALLY? You write to tell me how sorry you feel for yourself that you're having to work so hard at getting supply? You write at the end of an evening of skirt-chasing, like I'm an Internet booty call, checking to see if you might "get some" (supply) from me, or the last woman at the club who hasn't been spoken for an hour before the bar closes.
And what is your pick-up line? "Oh, pooooor me. I'm an ugly old fuck now and can't compete out here no more. Ah singa da bluuuuuuuues..."
Yes, it's all about them. It always was and it always will be.
When the OW contacted me - my ex immediately sent me the I hate you email (the anger). Then he said "I assume this is the last time we will have contact". Again, seeing if I there was any supply left for him. Then when I just made no contact he did not either. Finally I wanted answers and I reached out a couple times to see if we could talk and I I got the silent treatment. I'm still in silent treatment mode from him. He won't make contact for a long time to make sure that once he does I will just be surprised and " relieved" to hear from him that I won't even ask for answers. All manipulation at its best.
I hope this helps you move on, lovechild, knowing there is nobody home in there and there never was.
My XP actually used this line as seduction technique in the first few weeks of talking to me online. It turned me off so much--that is one of the reasons it took 4 months of online flirting before we met in person. I kept eliminating him and dating other men. I thought he was suicidal, and really now, is there any normal woman out there who is looking for a suicidal boyfriend? That's how effed up they are. They can't even imagine normal. Eventually, his humor won me over. The next time he pulled out the suicide line, I told him he wasn't allowed ot talk to me about that.
They miss whatever line of supply you provided them with. Sex, Money, Power, Control, Adornment etc .. they have no interest in you as a person ..
The next time he pulled a stunt like this I called the police.
