Is he or she a sociopath or psychopath? Think we're only talking about serial killers here? Psychopaths, sociopaths and even narcissists come in every walk of life, every career level, and every socio-economic category.
It is hard to wrap my head around the idea that all SPs set out to get you and destroy. It seems more plausible that some hoped that the intensity of the love bombing would last... you would forever be totally smitten and them interested in having you smitten. But inevitably that ends and they get bored and discard.
I don't know that my ex sought me out per se. I don't know that he thought "oh here's one I can really hurt". More like they just conquer and then it's boring and off to something else. An unconscious process to some extent?
So when my ex decided I was no longer enough for him instead of just leaving ... he lined up multiple others, lied to me for ages, used me, called.me crazy and only "left" when finally another woman contacted me and he was outed.
He loved how I made him feel until I needed something in return and then he abandoned me for the next.

But I could not terminate the 3rd time. I tried and tried. Went to the clinic 4 times and walked out before it was done. I couldn't live with myself anymore much less even look in the mirror at have any respect for myself. He bullied me so badly to abort. He said horrible things and he abandoned me when I didn't do it. Of course I didn't realize at that point he already new supply in full force.
