My name is Amber. I'm 28, married with a 2 year old daughter. I have always suffered from anxiety and panic attacks. I was more or less in remission for almost 3 years. I recently enrolled in school for pastry arts. I love to bake, read and watch movies with my husband. I'm scared that my kid will end up like me in the anxiety sense. Hi. My name is Gail, I am 51 and single but I do have two cats. I get panic attacks mainly when I am sleeping.-----their do wake me up and I am unable to go back to sleep. Lately the panic attacks increase to almost everly night. The Dr in to incease my zoloft from 50 mg to 150 mg.

I'm Amy, I live with my husband, 2 kids son 16, daughter 5, and my friend Samantha plus we have 3 dogs one chihuahua, and 2 pekingese, 8 cats, 2 birds and 2 sugar gliders. Yes it's a zoo, my friends ask when am I going to start charging a fee upon entering. It's a lot of work, but it helps keep my mind off things like my severe panic disorder and I have manic depressive bi-polar which I'm in the process of trying to get disability for once again. Went to see an attorney this AM about it said there's not much he can do yet till I get the denial letter again and we'll go from there. That could take 3 to 4 months to get that letter! Hate the government, boy if you owe them money they get right on it but when you need it from them they take forever! ERRRRRR! Let's see what else about me, Oh, I'm a home business owner, just joined a new one about a week ago and have already sold 2 boxes of our flagship product which is wonderful I must say. So hoping that it really takes off and I can make some real money from this one. Been in Network Marketing for 5 years now and the tax write offs are unreal, I don't know how people can afford NOT to be in a home business. LOL Well I'm glad to be here and get some support for what I go through on a daily basis and know there are others here like me going through the same thing. Nice to meet you all :)

I am bipolar, and have cardio myopathy, post tramatic stresss.and now fibro... with the right meds the rollercoaster was under control, until this past year.... 2009 was the worst year of my life... since then, i have not been the same.... my therapist recommended that i journal my feelings and experiences... so i hope this works....

Im in tears writing this! and just got over a panic attack!! I have recently been diagnosed by my doctor this week with having panic attacks.and feel very vulerable and very lonely to this.I have no knowledge on how to cope with this.and some people i have trusted on telling. feel im going mentle on not in control of my life.SO NOT TRUE.My life been going well so o thought untill now. a little about me. Been having these attacks every morning nearly every day this week. have to lay down all the time,as always dizzy.feeling useless to my family.and thats whats bringing me to tears. just need somebodys spirit realy to help me through this. i feel my strength is fading. x

hi, im new here and finding the sight very helpfull so far. I have been suffering with panic attacks for just over two years now. i hate them but have an amaizing family and boyfriend so very lucky. hi, im karen, 31 with an 8 yr old daughter, i suffer with depression and panic attacks which r really bad at the moment and am trying different meds 2 try 2 control them. iam single, have been 4 3 and a half yrs since my fiancee died, with my illnesses i do not see that changing very soon as i have problems goin out and have done for a gd few months now. nobody seems 2 understand how bad my panic attacks can be even tho my sister suffers with them 2 so there is really nobody i can talk 2 about it as i feel iam burdening or bringing them down with me, hopefully i will find ppl 2 talk 2 here xx

My name is Rena I'm a 37 year mother of an 18 year and a 7 month granddaughter. I suffer from Bipolar with Panic Attacks. I use to work in a big International Organization, but suffered PTSD after being in a really domestic situation. I use to think that Panic Attacks were all in your mind, but I had to take it back. I have had it for 5 years and they have been really bad over the last 7 months. I had to take two quarters off of school, because of my attacks. It's been an uphill battle. I don't know what to do with myself, because it has taken over my life.

Hi. My name is John. I am 44, single and have had depression and panic disorder for over 2 decades now. I had been diagnosed with this condition in my early twenties. I have seen numbers of therapists and been on an incredible array of meds. In a way, I know what a "test guinea pig" goes through. I originally took prozac and klonopin an that was helping me. I thought everything had subsided, until 2008. After a small accident, a pandora's box of panic and anxiety struck and I've been back in therapy ever since. This physician is a marvel and I am taking both Pristiq and dissolving Clonazepam tabs (as needed). I have come a long way since April 2008 and will continue to work hard in getting better. I still have moments when I over analyze and cause my stress levels to soar into space. Thank you for this site-I joined a couple of days ago. My goal is to help others and myself and ultimately, find peace of mind.

Hi , fellow friends , my name is Nina ,I am Cuban ,29 years old , I live in Miami Florida , usa , I can not complain I have everything to be happy , I have two little and healthy kids , a loving and extreme supportive husband , but I stared suffering my panics attacks 3 years ago and it have been hell every time i have a new episode , I feel like garbage ,not able to domain my own mind , I know everything from this condition now , I’ve tried a lot of things but it goes and comes again and every time in different situation that I avoid completely , right now I can not be alone at home ( my first attack was alone at home with my kids , I can not drive ( I also had an attack while in a traffic light ) and there is different situation in my life I’m not able to perform due to this disorder and that really upset me cause I want to have a normal life ,drive my kids at school , or be with them in every step of their live , not really thinking all the time my next attack where it will be , or that it can come any time , am taking Zoloft right now , I was under Zoloft once and I thought I was recovered and drop the treatment but it came again , I hope some day I will give a shit to this panics attack and I will laugh all about this , am so happy I found this group , god bless you all , we are not alone !

Hi everyone. I'm Elizabeth, I'm pushing 50 real hard and l just moved to the mid-west where people don't like to believe horrible things happen to children/people (wish I would've known that before I moved here). I was ritualistically abused to the best of my recollection between the ages of 4-18. My entire life I've been drawn into one disfunctional/abusive relationship after another. For the longest time I thought I was the one with the problem of not liking being emotionally/physically abused. I thought it was normal behavior and I was odd. It wasn't till I went in for counseling that I found I had been wrong and my feelings were appropriate for what's been done to me. I suffer from PTSD, SI, paranoia, panic/anxiety attacks, depression etc....the list goes on. I have flashbacks and panic/anxiety attacks every single day of my life and it's really beginning to wear on me. I want so badly to live one day without those awful experiences. It was nice to find out I'm not alone and just want to share when the going gets rough and help where I can. I've had more than my fair share of attacks.
