For veterans that joined the Military not expecting to do their tour of duty doing things that make them nervous,,Or may get them shot at,,Or make them car sick or worse,,The guys that are workin full time and are Bitchin about Disability,,Should stand in front of a VA hospital and see whos being rolled in to apply for Disability,,If you don't need it don't ask for it,,Just my opinion

I totally agree with you. After being released fro a north vietnamese pridoner of war camp35 years ago I have yet to receive a dime for it and I'm not pushing to. There are vets worse off than me I figure, they deserve it more.

It was very difficult for my husband to admit he needed help. He is rated 100% through VA and he does need it. If he didn't, he wouldn't take it. He has too many health problems and emotional problems to be considered employable. God Bless VA. They do their best. They have kept my husband alive when I thought it couldn't be done.

I'm not sure as too what vets, you may be talking about. I would like you to clear what you mean by:
1. working vets
2. bitching about Disability
3. what area of time you are talking about, and what part of the country.

I am not disagreeing with you, i just don't want to make a statement with out understanding. i think this is a good subject you have chosen and should be talked about.
Gunny i have great respect for you, and lightnin as my self you guys are from the old military, not this new military, of which i have great respect.

just remember times have changed. We who really fought in an unpopular or forgotten war are trying to forget. It's not easy. Korea and Vietnam were no Gung Ho wars, in both places we went to countrys who didnt want us and came home to americans who didnt want us either. So we want to forget it.

he he he... I'd like to send all those bitchin people who bitch about life all the time and expect to get everything on a silver platter TO THE FRONT LINES!! Along with all THOSE F#CKED UP CRIMINALS AND CHILD RAPISTS, TOO!!!!
THEY SHOULD ALL GO!! Go and soak up all the BULLETS, IEDs, and MORTARS!!!! Then we'll see who's bitchin! HA HA HA
