that McCaine was a POW for 5 n 1/2 years in Nam?? did you know he was tortured and when the gooks were going to set him free he refused because there were other men there 3 yrs before him that deserved to go free 1st!! wow, i knew he was a POW but i didn't know for that long.
i also heard that he is majorly pissed about how the troops today have been treated by both the VA and the gov upon returning from duty. i never liked McCaine but hearing this makes me feel a lot better. don't get me wrong, i was gonna vote for him anyway cuz I CAN"T STAND OBAMA, he makes no sense and i haven't heard any plans coming from him other than raising taxes, and that's the last thing we need with this fragile economy!

You may want to know also that 3 months before being shot down, he was in his fighter jet on the deck of the Forrestal carrier when another jet on deck accidentally fired off a rocket. The rocket hit McCain's fighter on deck. It was (and may be still is) the worst accident in US Naval history onboard a carrier. McCain climbed out of the jet into a fire circle. I think 126 men died from that accident. And, as mentioned, 3 months later he was shot down over N. VN and taken prisoner.

Jack is 22 and is attending his fourth (1st Class) year at the U.S. Naval Academy in Annapolis, Maryland. He hopes to become a naval aviator. He was born and raised in Arizona and attended Phoenix Country Day Elementary and Brophy College Preparatory High School. He enjoys amateur car racing and has built his own race car. He competes in Drift racing and recently took his Mom with him in the passenger seat during a race.

Jim is 20 and a Private First Class in the Marine Corps. He was born in Phoenix, Arizona and attended Christ Lutheran Elementary School and Brophy College Preparatory High School. His lifelong dream was to become a Marine. He is an avid reader and often shares books with his father.
