Thank you, Lightnin. I am sorry to say, I am sad .. feeling like our country .. that so many have fought for, is taken over by corruption and deceit. I love the country, but hate its condition. Its government is infested with termites and the country is being destroyed from the inside, like Roman, Greek, and other great societies.

Like a magnificent but neglected building, it is decaying because those in charge of it are not doing the job. I fear the problem cannot be solved by the citizens any more than the Roman problem could be.

Everyone knows something is wrong, but no one knows what to do about it. Voting OBVIOUSLY does not work .. for some reason.

Yes, this Great country of ours (The USA) is under attack , from with in...and out. It's greed and power that is taking over the morals and convections of many American politicians and people with influence.
But............... But , I will celebrate today for all of those that have fallen for this country...... I will celebrate today ... because .....It's my country.......It's the greatest country on earth... I will die defending her..... I have Grandchildren like many of us here and I want them to have the same freedom that I had and somewhat still have.
So ..when the police stop me at a (So called) safety check.... I will protest them stopping me for no probable cause... I will protest this till the end.... Of course I have all the respect in the world for the police , but the officials are making them abuse my rights

I was just reading the post here and started to think.... Yes we fought and defended Old Glory our great country (THE USA) once before in our lives... We have seen our comrades give their lives up for this great country. We know all the history of great Americans that fought and died for her. .. Many... MANY GREAT heroes
My friends... sorry to say.... our battles are not over.... This... fight for freedom and our flag will go on. We fight a different kind of war this time.... A war from within besides terrorist trying to destroy us from the outsidewhich will never happen..... They don't really know us ....YET.. They need to read about our history and all the great battles that we (The Americans of the USA) have fought and prevailed. ... They just don't know....................YET !
Soooooooooooo, , It's our duty again "and always will be "to fight in any way that we can to ....protect our rights...... our freedom.... OUR COUNTRY....
