Nope, not for me.

It's great that they're doing this, but they're one of the major contributors to factory farming and land clearing. No amount of lentil burgers are going to wipe that fact from my memory any time soon.

It's a good sign though, it means we're becoming a group worth marketing to.

Yeah I'm a bit mixed about this too. I think its amazing and such fantastic progress, but McDonalds is the biggest contributor to being a lead factor in cruelty....I'm on the fence about this one!

Why not got to the one in India only? Heck, if you are there anyway, it would be worthwhile. I do not plan to but still.
That particular Mcdonalds is not responsible for land clearing I assume. That happens due to the need for cheap land for meat, no?

I know what you mean Sigmund, but.... To me, it's the same reason why I won't buy things from The Body Shop. While The Body Shop extols the values of not testing on animals, their profits still go to L'Oreal, one of the worst offenders of cosmetic testing on animals.

There are many McDonalds, all around the world, who wouldn't be directly responsible for the massive land clearing and 'intensive farming' methods. But, they were all built with the same blood money. Their profits all go to the same source.

Each to their own, of course, but I wouldn't do it.

Like I've said though, it's good to see we're becoming people to market to. It means we're doing something right.

All I can say is a move in this direction, even if it is just baby steps, can eventually become bigger steps that could revolutionize the publics conscience. I get the blood money point and I will still not eat there by choice but if I am meeting a bunch of people there, at least it gives me an option.
