I say we must be careful when viewing vegetarian or vegan as a diet because we do not loose weight by it.
For myself I love my vegetarian food and I eat a lot of fun foods and I put on a lot of weight, and I was never so heavy when I was younger.
One thing that I have learned is that people use food for depression, and THAT is just soooo true, in that my fun food always cheers me up and it is fun to chow down on fun foods.
Eating animal meat is not really fun at all, and I never really knew that until I stopped eating animals, and now I see the reality that now my eating is fun.
Being a vegetarian is kind of hard and difficult, but the rewards and the challenge is what makes the hard work enjoyable.
Welcome to it.
I am gratefull for your comment. Happy New Year!!

There is not magic in weight loss - it is all about calories in vs calories out (CICO) while providing the your body with the energy and nutrition to function properly.
