I've written one post already, but forgot to mention that I had an endro-ablation three years ago. My doctor tells me that the mass in the uterus was not there at the time. I am wondering if it was a mistake to have that surgery, and now wish that I had gotten the hysterectomy right away.
An endro-ablation is the burning of the uterus, and it was a new procedure at the time. There are four ways to do it, and I found out that the baloon method that I had was the riskiest which I did not know at the time. I can't help but wonder if this in some way contributed to the cancer growing.
Also, now the new cancer specialist is will do my upcoming surgery told me that a fourth of all women who get endro ablations still have to have hysterectomys.
Anybody else have this experience?

Her doctor found out that the type he did had the highest risk for cancer & he was all over it. Hes legally responsible for that, but he is a good doctor & wanted my mom to know all of her options.
She hasnt seen him in a while, but she hasnt been diagnosed with anything since.
I really hope everything turns out alright for you.

Do you know what type of ablation your mom had? Am I understanding that the ablation itself has a risk of cancer? I am wondering that very thing about my own experience.
