How do you prepare for long car rides? I'm getting ready to go on an eight hour car drive but lately my diapers have been leaking So I've been using plsstic over the diaper but that's annoying. Do you have any suggestions on coping with this? I'm sorry I'm just new to this and have a lot of questions and you seem to understand.

Well, the key is a good diaper in disposables, like Dry 24/7, Abena M4, or Rearz Safari series. Add an Abena 7" x 24" booster to this. Then your vinyl / plastic pants or even bloomers. Make sure the leg bands are not too narrow or tight, yet cover all the diaper area to avoid wicking onto clothing or car seat. I know you are knew and don't feel bad. Just try a few other brands of over pants such as Gary and there should be some that fit just right. Most of us just have to find out through trial and error what works best for US. That's why there are many products out there that are sold from Incontinence Supply Outlets.

Thank you. Yes, I like tena diapers for going out in public and goodnites for around the house. I'm still learning. I need a diaper cover because I'm having lots of leakage. But other than that life is great lol

I'm just 21 and have been a bedwetter since birth and full time day wetter since 16. It is tough.

I started using Exact brand pull ups just recently when I finally got tired of having small flows wet my underwear and pants within 30 minutes of going to the washroom. I'm a very practical person, so I just said "heck with it, there are products available for this, and apparently they sell like hotcakes, so it's certainly not just me, so I'll just use them". So for me, at least right now, I'm not too bothered by it. But, I admit it's easy to say that because my issue is very minor, and I could just as easily opt not to wear these and put up with the dribbles. All to say, when it's a choice, it doesn't seem like a big deal, but if it were out of total necessity, I'd probably be singing a different tune.

Sorry for the second post: I forgot to mention that I realize pull ups are overkill for my needs and I could use something more like a "liner" for my relatively small leaks, but I like that these are worn rather than "placed" and therefore stay where I need them to be 100% of the time. Plus, for my needs, they're worry free in terms of capacity.
