how do you run out of diapers

I forget to place an order. Or I use alot

In my situation my incontinence (what I'm starting to think of it as) is only durring the night when I am sleeping. Bedwetting is what most people call it, but since I use protection it really doesn't seem like the bed actually gets wet. I wear cloth diapers with waterproof pants when I sleep and wash them twice a week. I guess I don't have an answer using them only at night, but perhaps if you use disposable products, get and keep an extra package and just stash it away someplace. Don't even use it unless there is an emergency and you run short.

The couple of times this came close to happening, I went to the medical supply store and or thrift store and got something to get me by till my order came in. Where I order from, it is at my door in two days so that really helps.

When that happened last time I was just sitting a bedpads until I got my diapers.

I rely on my pads so I can lead a normal life so I always have a reseve stock.

Typically i don't run out of diapers during the month i get about 200 diaper a month and have leftovers. I get my supplies though Medicaid for free

Talk to your urologist about a prescription for diapers. I receive about 90 diapers (Abena M4) per month. That's usually all I need, but if I notice I'm running low I just refill the prescription a bit early.

Not all insursances will cover diapers. One of my insurances refused purchasing diapers even though I had a prescription. I wasn't happy about this and requested the case to be reviewed. I had to go to a meeting where there where about 12 people there to hear my case and discuss it. Out of those twelve only 2 were medical professionals. I did my best to explain why the diapers were needed, and that the were willing to pay out $20,000 plus every six months for me to have Botox injections into my bladder that only helped for about 3 weeks or so at a time, explaining the cost of diapers was much cheaper and less invasive type of care. After they heard my case, I was still turned down. The only time my insurance covers diapers is if they are provided during a hospital stay or something like that. So to help me keep things on track, I have started using my FSA account to purchase what good diapers I need.

A lot of medical supply companies offer an automatic shipping option. I would check into this with my next order of diapers.

It is always a good idea to keep an extra bag of diapers in the closet for the emergency situation just in case. There are many factors that can get in the way of receiving your product.

Weather, shipping, store does not have your size etc. etc.

If you have to use the spare bag, make sure you replace it as soon as you can for the next time.

Incontinence is your condition and it is always better to take the extra time to be prepared.
