Urinary Incontinence Support Group
Urinary incontinence is the involuntary excretion of urine from one's body. It is often temporary, and it almost always results from an underlying medical condition. Stress, functional, and urge incontinence are the most common forms. Share with other support group members and learn from their stories and experiences.
I have recently joined this group and noticed you didn't receive a reply. Did you manage to sort your issue? Hope it has got easier. If it is still bothering you, it is worth seeing your doctor just to make sure it is nothing more serious, and they should be able to give you something to try and make it better, as well as letting you known if benedryl is interfering.
Best wishes, Hillary x
One of the common side effects of Benadryl IS urinary retention and frequent urination so yes, the Benadryl could be making it worse. If your bladder is retaining fluid that you are unable to void, then of course that will also make you feel as if you always have to go. It all goes hand in hand. Perhaps by now you have stopped the B and have noticed a difference yourself.
If not, perhaps you could talk to your doc about trying something diff for the condition that you are treating with the Benadryl.
I have all of these symptoms myself due to a bladder disease and it is not fun.
I wish you the best of luck!!
Blessings,
Melissa
