My experience is that it depends [not a pun!] on postcode and even year by year according to the "buy" of different health authorities. I was in one area on Molicare when they changed to Tena. Where I am now, we have stayed on Tena for some years. Continence seems to come under continence nurses/district nurses through GPs. What tips do you have about reassessment and supplies?

I go for Home Delivery scheme. They send you a letter advising your next delivery so somebody is home to receive it [you can name a willing neighbour etc to receive if you are out]. They like to maximise each delivery, so you need storage space. I travel a lot, so I stay on "Ring Back" system; I call them to arrange next delivery when I need it on a date that suits [each area usually has a day of the week for your street]. The nurses are meant to reassess you annually. This may be in person, or by phone. You can arrange to change the type of pad you are issued at any time, and quantity. They put me down for 2 per night but I only need one. I did not amend, as I have under-bed storage, so I can take some large deliveries instead of staying indoors for lots of small ones

i'm in Liverpool and I get Molicare, and Attends

I get tena maxi pads for night use and tena extra for day use. They asked me to try plus ones but there wasn't enough absorbancy. Yhe extra ones leaked at night so I was given maxi pads which are quite good. I rarely leak on to the bed now.
