Urinary Incontinence Support Group
Urinary incontinence is the involuntary excretion of urine from one's body. It is often temporary, and it almost always results from an underlying medical condition. Stress, functional, and urge incontinence are the most common forms. Share with other support group members and learn from their stories and experiences.
I know how hard it is to suffer with incontinence. I tend to dribble all the time and therefore really never feel the full bladder. If I sit down at the computer for too long and then stand up..oh oh...big problem with leaking..It is most embarrassing..I know....The Kegel Queen program at least gives me hope that maybe one day I can tighten up those muscles and the leak will stop..If not..then my problem is nerve damage. from the epidural I had with my second child.
Remember to always stay dry...change your pads often..don't let the skin get damp..it is a horrid rash..
never never consider surgery...never...That is not an option.. It usually doesn't work..I am living with this every day. but have always the hope that one day the kegel exercises will work..
Part of me is just getting used to it. It Another part of me just wants a day where I stay dry. I hate the feeling of my bladder emptying and not being able to stop it. I don't like when I pee too much and it goes on my clothes and I start to smell. (One thing I like about my nursing scrub pants is they are meant to dry really fast so I don't have to worry about people noticing.)
I have not dealt with rashes lately because I have started using cornstarch. It is used for incontinence in the elderly if they can't afford the barrier creams. I just use a light dusting after my bath at night and sometimes during the day.
I did find an app to remind me to do kegals. I will keep my fingers (and hopefully not my legs!) crossed.)
Perhaps their product will give you some new hope without having to suffer another surgical procedure. Best of luck.
