Hello,
I am new to this support group, and it seems to be the only resource out there for young adults with enuresis.
I was diagnosed at 19, having had the condition my whole life.
I haven't worn underwear without pads for most of my life, and actually feel naked without them.
Most recently, as my condition progresses, and my doctors twiddle their thumbs, bedwetting has turned from a rare and awful occurence to an almost nightly endeavor. Emotionally, I am not ready to wear diapers 24/7 at 24.
Not really sure where to turn, or what to do, although I know that before Always Discreet was released, my bag of Poise pads was usually the same that the little old ladies will have at checkout. You'd be surprised at how many dirty looks I get from elderly women as I stand there with my own package of incontinence product.
I also wish I wasn't afraid of tampons, and that the new released tampons for stress incontinence would work for me. :(
