Over the last five years my incontinence has gradually developed. To start with my childhood bedwetting returned and from the odd accident, became a nightly event. More recently I have had accidents during the day as well. For over a year I have been wearing diapers 24/7. To start with this was for the odd accident , but as time has gone on these have also become more frequent. Today marks a new stage. Today for the first time since I was a little kid, I have failed to make it to the toilet every time I needed to pee. I have used my diaper every time for over twenty four hours. Perhaps I need to stop calling my wetting 'accidents' , and accept the fact that I am now really incontinent, and that I need to accept this and get on with it. This is now how it will be and I need to get used to it and not allow it to control my life.
