Well i have just set up my goal on this group. I have written that I want to be happy wearing pads ! I know that there is very, very little chance of me ever gaining the use of my bladder so i decided that for me to live the rest of my life i had to be happy with who i am now. that means i need to be happy with my identity as an incontinent man who has to wear diapers 24/7. Funny thing is having to wear diapers since 2013 I have become used to wearing them and actually i am quite happy with that. It was very depressing at first but i am now happy. I have adjusted my life to take into acount that i need to time my changes and provide for those changes when i am out and about in the community.
I have recently been abroad (I drove tyo France for three weeks) I managed really easily in a foreign country. I just took my provisions and also I packed for 4 weeks just in case. It can be done and i did it.

I know how you feel. When I started having to wear back in 2008 I too was concerned and scared about how to deal with it when I was out and at work. Now after all these years and finding the right diaper for the right event has allowed me to live a normal life. Like you noted, when I take a trip, I have a little more luggage with me, but that is just fine. I am going to keep on living.
THe advantages of being incontinent don't often outweigh the disadvantages but long trips sure are one of them.
